Shipping Policy

At KURU Creative Studio LLP, every artwork leaves our studio wrapped not just in protective materials, but in the care and reverence it was created with. This policy outlines how we ensure your piece arrives safely and beautifully.

Each artwork in the KURU collection — including pieces from our debut Sacred Threads collection — is hand-embroidered to order by our artists. Because no two works are exactly alike, we do not maintain ready-to-ship inventory. All orders are custom-crafted.

 

Typical dispatch timelines from date of order confirmation:

·      Standard artworks: 9 to 12 weeks from date of order confirmation

·      Large-format or highly complex compositions: longer, confirmed with you individually before work begins

·      Commissioned / fully custom works: Timeline communicated individually at the time of commission confirmation

 

📌  Need your artwork by a specific date — for a gifting occasion, exhibition, or installation? Please write to us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.

KURU artworks are packaged to museum standards. Each piece is:

·      First wrapped in acid-free archival tissue to protect the embroidered surface

·      Layered with high-density bubble wrap for cushioning

·  Enclosed in a rigid, custom-cut wooden crate or thick corrugated double-wall box (depending on size and fragility)

·      Sealed with tamper-evident security tape and clearly marked as fragile

 

Our packaging reflects KURU's commitment to delivering your investment in the same pristine condition it left our studio.

·     Shipping within India is complimentary on all orders.

·    We partner with reputed courier and specialist art logistics partners to ensure reliable delivery.

·    Estimated delivery: 4 to 7 business days from dispatch, depending on your location.

·   Tracking details will be shared via WhatsApp and/or email once your order is dispatched.

·    Delivery to remote or non-serviceable PIN codes may take longer; our team will inform you proactively if this applies.

·       Delivery outside India is arranged directly with the studio and is not available through website checkout. Checkout accepts Indian delivery addresses only.

·       Because each piece is large, framed and unique, export orders are crated and insured individually rather than sold at a flat shipping rate. Write to us on WhatsApp at +91 93072 00002 or at hello@kurustudio.in with the artwork, the size and your delivery city, and we will confirm freight cost, customs paperwork and timelines before you commit.

·       Export pieces travel by DHL Express, FedEx or specialist art logistics partners. Estimated international delivery: 10 to 15 business days from dispatch.

·       Tracking information is provided via WhatsApp and/or email upon dispatch.

 

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes: KURU Creative Studio LLP is not responsible for any customs clearance delays or import duties levied by the destination country. All applicable duties, taxes, and fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an international order. freight is quoted separately and is payable in addition to the price of the artwork.

Please ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is complete and accurate — including flat/house number, floor, building name, street, locality, city, PIN code, and country. KURU Creative Studio LLP is not responsible for shipments delayed, misdelivered, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at the time of order.

You will receive a shipping confirmation with your AWB tracking number once your order is dispatched. You may use this to track your shipment in real time on the carrier's portal. For any concerns during transit, please reach out to us directly.

In the unlikely event that your package arrives visibly damaged:

·     Document the damage immediately with clear photographs and/or video of the outer packaging and the artwork before removing it entirely from the box.

·      Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@kurustudio.in with your order number and evidence.

·      We will review your submission and arrange either a repair, recreation, or appropriate resolution as outlined in our Refund & Returns Policy.

While we strive to meet our stated timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control — including adverse weather events, carrier operational issues, customs clearance procedures, or national holidays. We will communicate any significant delays to you promptly and work to resolve them with priority.

For special delivery requirements — such as installation-ready framing, gift wrapping, handwritten notes, or specific delivery scheduling — please contact us at the time of order or as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
